# Workspaces and spaces

Simplified is multi-tenant on two levels. A **workspace** is the billing and membership
boundary. A **space** is a team area inside a workspace, used to separate clients,
brands, or projects.

## Scoping with an API key

An API key already carries its workspace, so most integrations send nothing extra:

To target a space with a workspace-scoped key, add the `Space` header:

Resources are filtered to the resolved workspace and space automatically. A resource
belonging to another workspace returns `404`, not `403` — existence is not disclosed
across tenants.
