Use the platform guide to install skills alongside a working connection:

Connection and instructions are separate
A plugin may bundle the MCP connection and skills. Installing skill files by themselves does not authenticate the connector. Likewise, a working MCP connection does not establish that reusable instructions are installed.
Follow the verification checklist to check both. For clients without persistent skill support, use the skills library as workflow guidance in the current conversation.
