Media · Generate · Poll a video generation job (step 3 of 3)

View as Markdown

Step 3 — poll this endpoint after generateVideo. Read job_status:

  • Non-terminal: CREATED, PENDING, PROCESSING, RENDERING, UPDATED — keep polling. 10s is a reasonable interval.
  • Terminal: DONE (success — payload.output and asset_references are now populated with the rendered video URL) or FAILED (error — inspect payload.errors).

Generation is webhook-driven (FAL / Kie call back into djapp when rendering finishes), so the row updates asynchronously — there is no task_id to short-circuit polling.
